Based on my eight years of experience as an eyewear designer, this project is a study that aims to showcase my know-how of eyewear manufacturing applied to various products starting from the materials.
Among them is acetate, a plant-based resin widely used for eyewear frames. This piece considers how various visual effects can be achieved through the lamination process, and therefore applied to basic products.
このプロジェクトは、私のアイウェアデザイナーとしての経験をもとに、アイウェア製作のノウハウや素材から様々な製品に応用していくことを目的とした研究です。 眼鏡フレームに広く使われている植物由来の樹脂であるアセテートを対象としています。この作品では、ラミネート加工によってさまざまな視覚効果が得られることを考え、ベーシックな製品に応用しています。
